K.F.J.M. (Koen) Dekkers, PhD

I’m working both as a pediatric physical therapist and as a researcher at the department of Orthopedics & Sports medicine – Unit Physical Therapy at the Erasmus MC. 

After obtaining my bachelor degree in physiotherapy in 2001, I start working as a pediatric physical therapy in a large rehabilitation center in Breda. In 2007 I officially graduated as a pediatric physical therapist.  In 2020 I obtained my PhD degree at the Maastricht University. (Thesis: Measuring upper extremity muscle strength in children with Unilateral Spastic Cerebral Palsy — Maastricht University)
