Veerle de Rond, PhD

My research interests in the field of human movement and rehabilitation sciences are broad, from the underlying neural and neuromuscular mechanisms to the practical implementation of new insights.

During my PhD, I focused on the underlying neural and neuromuscular mechanisms of postural control in ageing. During my current post-doc position, the goal is to implement a new treatment for clinically suspected scaphoid fractures, whereby the primary treatment should be bandaging instead of casting.
MSc Human Movement Science, University of Groningen. Specialization in rehabilitation and neuroscience.

PhD Human Movement and Rehabilitation Science, KU Leuven. Underlying neural and neuromuscular mechanisms of postural control in ageing.
