As a technical physician I have always been interested in the use of (semi-)automatic image processing and machine learning to support clinical decision making. My research focuses on the development of the hip during childhood and the development of hip osteoarthritis.

Current research project:
Studies about the development of different hip morphologies during childhood. 
Development of new morphological measurements of hip morphology for early childhood.
Studies about risk factors of hip osteoarthritis and prediction models.
