M.N. (Mauricio) Ferrao Blanco, PhD

Currently working in the Orthopaedics Department in Erasmus MC. I aim to find new drugs for the treatment of Osteoarthritis, especially focusing on the role of inflammation in the progression of the disease. My passion for molecular pharmacology started since my studies in Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2009. I later gained experience in R&D in the Pharmaceutical Industry where I worked for two years. Motivated to expertise the drug discovery field, I continued my studies obtaining a MSc and I am now doing my PhD in a Marie-Curie program
